Tonya is the proud owner of Get Away Vacations Travel. She is a wife, mother of six grown children, and grandmother to 13 grandchildren. Tonya and her husband are avid travelers, with a deep love for ocean and river cruises as well as all-inclusive resorts. 

Tonya's expertise in the travel industry spans over 35 years, during which she has held multiple roles including  corporate and leisure travel. This breath of experience has cultivated her exceptional skills and knowledge. 

In addition to being a Certified Sandals Specialist, Tonya holds numerous other resort and cruise certifications.

While she plans vacations worldwide, her true passions lie in arranging once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon and designing milestone anniversary trips for couples seeking to recharge and reconnect. Tonya also has extensive experience crafting multi-city European itineraries for the whole family. 

 After navigating the many changes in the travel industry, Tonya founded Get Away Vacations Travel LLC in 2004. Her unwavering commitment to exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences is the driving force behind the agency's success.
